About The Event
Buckham Alley Theatre proudly presents Lysistrata by Aristophanes, adapted by Amber M. Dillard. First performed in ancient Greece, this enduring work explores themes of war, power, unity, and civil resistance through one of theatre’s most influential stories.
Performed outdoors on the lawn of the Whaley Historic House Museum, this production offers a unique summer theatre experience blending classical drama with contemporary energy and visual storytelling.
Performances run June 18th–20th at 7PM.
General Admission is $10 at the door. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs for seating.
